10. in October we celebrated World Tree Day. This is a great opportunity to plant a tree and add it to the Planet’s green lung counter. Trees are our future and living monuments of the people who planted them – that is why employees of Aliplast Group planted about 100 new trees on the premises of our work during a joint action.

One tree absorbs 6-7 kg of CO2 per year, so it will reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere by 700 kg per year!

The originator of World Tree Day is the American expert and nature lover Julius Morton. In 1872, the first encouraged his countrymen to plant trees. Thanks to his action, more than one million new trees were planted in the United States that same year. This holiday came to Europe in 1951, in Poland we celebrate it since 2002.
